Don't forget that next week (week of May 20th) is Restaurant Week in Wailea. The Wailea Community Association will be making a contribution to the Maui Food Bank for every pre-fixe entree sold! Last year they raised approximately $10k! It's a great way to help out a good cause and to try the fancy hotel restaurants! More info here.

On May 19 the Global Women's Summit will take place at The Studio Maui. A few fantastic women will be honored at this event, including Katie McMillan (founder of Ted Ex Maui), Stacey Moniz (Women Helping Women) and Lani Starr (The Kapila Institute for Transformation through the Arts). Looks like a powerful event! Still time to register :)
